The Reset

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 23, 2026

Introduction

The Reset ("we", "our", or "us") is a pickleball news aggregator app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

The Reset is designed to respect your privacy. We collect minimal information:

Error Reporting

We use Sentry for error reporting in the production version of the app. Sentry may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, and crash logs to help us identify and fix bugs. This data is anonymized and does not include personal information.

Third-Party Services

The Reset aggregates publicly available content from third-party sources including RSS feeds, YouTube (via the YouTube Data API), and public websites. When you tap on a video or visit an original article, you may be redirected to third-party websites or apps (such as YouTube) which have their own privacy policies.

Data Storage

All user preferences (bookmarks, read history) are stored locally on your device. We do not store any personal data on our servers. Our server only caches publicly available news articles and video metadata to provide the aggregated feed.

Children's Privacy

The Reset is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
